Sexual Sobriety Group
Clients participate in an interactive group for adults in early recovery to learn about addiction, denial, rituals, triggers of their unhealthy behaviors, and to learn healthy response alternatives.
Participants practice accountability for group process and responsibility for their own thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
Connie Lofgreen Biography
Connie Lofgreen, MSW, LSCSW, CSAT, is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and the Clinical Director of STARPRO. Lofgreen received her Masters degree from Rutgers University with a concentration in group work. She is a member of the American Academy of Marriage and Family Therapists, and a Level II practitioner of EMDR. She has 25 years experience in psychotherapy with individuals, families, and groups, and consults extensively in the area of clergy and sexual ethics. For many years, she has counseled adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and other traumas.
